Spring Birding and Hike: Econfina Creek/Pitts Springs to Williford Springs

We will meet at the parking area of Pitt Springs Recreation Area on Hwy 20 near the bridge over Econfina Creek at 8:00-8:15. This is a fairly easy one-mile hike over uneven trails with some elevation changes. Expect lots of beautiful wildflowers and hopefully, spring migrants and other area birds such as red-headed woodpeckers. Wear sturdy hiking shoes. Ron Houser will have some hiking sticks. After we return we will eat lunch in the picnic area.
