Three Natural History “Hotspots Down Under”
An Australian Journey Presented by Dave Clausen, President of Choctawhatchee Audubon. Hey, Mates! Back from a journey to the Great Down Under, a year ago, Dave Clausen brings his unique story to our Chapter at our regular 6:30 pm January monthly membership meeting. Kangaroos? Koala Bears? Kiwis (Oops, New Zealand)? In his own words, and as an introduction: “I will speak about three locations in Australia that I visited in late 2023: 1) Lady Elliot Island at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef, 2) oceanic Norfolk Island in the Tasman Sea, and 3) Lamington National Park in southern Queensland.”
